The Turkey 1 Million Lira Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Turkey in 1995 under the 1970 law. The note is predominantly claret red and blue and has the prefix D. The obverse of the note depicts Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and the bank logo. On its reverse are the bank logo and the Ataturk dam in Sanliurfa. The note contains a windowed security thread with a demetallized TCMB and a watermark that reveals Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. It is 160 x 76 mm in size and is signed by Sakir Yaman Toruner and Osman Cavit Ertan. This banknote is in used condition.
