The Turkey 1 New Lira Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Turkey in 2005 in a combination of claret red and blue colors. The obverse of the paper bill depicts a portrait of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and the bank logo. The reverse of the paper bill depicts the bank logo and the Ataturk dam in Sanliurfa. The paper bill contains a windowed security thread with a demetallized TCMB. It also bears a watermark that reflects Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and an electrotype 1. The pap0er bill is 156 x 76 mm in size and has the prefix A. It is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
