Turkey 10,000 Lira Banknote, L.1970 (1982 ND), P-199, Used

The Turkey 10,000 Lira Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Turkey in 1982 under the 1970 Law. The note has a purple and green color combination and bears the prefix D. Its obverse features Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. The reverse depicts the Selimiye mosque and minarets in Edirne. It also displays a portrait of Architect Mimar Sinan. The note contains a solid security thread with demetalized TCMB. It also has a watermark that reveals Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. It is 146 x 72 mm in size and is signed by Yavuz Canevi and Ibrahim Kurt. This particular banknote is in used condition.
