The Turkey 100,000 Lira banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Turkey in 1997 with a prefix I. The banknote comes with brown and green color combinations and is 158 x 76 mm in size. Its front design consists of the equestrian statue of Ataturk in Samsun, the bank logo, and a picture of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. The back design features Ataturk receiving flowers from young students. The 158 x 76 mm paper bill was printed by TCMB. It has a watermark that reveals Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. It also bears a windowed security thread that has a demetalized print of the printers initials.
