This uncirculated 100,000 Turkish lira banknote is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the Central Bank of Turkey in 1997. It is a brown and green banknote that is dated 14 January 1970, bears the signatures of Gazi Ercel and Aykut Ekzen, and measures 158 mm x 76 mm. Its obverse side shows the equestrian statue of Ataturk in Samsun, the central bank logo, and a portrait of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Its reverse side depicts Ataturk receiving flowers from children. Security features include a windowed security thread with a demetalized TCMB and a watermark of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. The banknote was demonetized in 2011.
