The Turkey 100 Lira Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Turkey in 1984 under the 1970 law. The banknote has a color combination of purple and brown and bears Turkish text. Its obverse features Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. The reverse depicts the home of Ersoy in Ankara, the Hittite fort with a flag atop hill in Ankara, a scroll with the first two quatrains of the Turkish National Anthem, and a portrait of Mehmed Akif Ersoy. The banknote contains a solid security thread and a watermark that reveals Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. It is 131 x 63 mm in size and signed by Zekeriya Yildirim and Yavuz Canevi.
