The Turkey 20,000 Lira banknote is part of the Central Bank of Turkeys issues released L.1970 (1995 ND). The banknote has color combinations of claret red and violet. Featured on the banknotes front design is a portrait of Turkish revolutionary leader, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, who served as president. The reverse of the note depicts the Central Bank headquarters building in Ankara. The 152 x 76 mm paper bill comes with a windowed security thread and a watermark that reflects Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
