This used 20 million Turkish lira banknote was introduced by the Central Bank of Turkey in 2001 under Law 1970 and signed by Sureyya Serdengecti and Aykut Ekzen. It is a green note that measures 162 mm x 76 mm. Its obverse side shows a dove with an olive branch, a globe, the Central Bank logo, and a portrait of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Its reverse side depicts a view of the Efes Antik Kenti—Selcuk ruins (ancient city of Ephesus) and the bank logo. Security features include a serial number with a J-prefix, a windowed security thread with demetalized TCMB, and a watermark of Ataturk.
