The Turkey 250,000 Lira Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Turkey in 1992 under the 1970 law. The banknote is in blue and bears the prefix C. Featured on its obverse are Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and the bank logo. The reverse depicts the Red Tower with ships in the harbor in Alanya. It contains a windowed security thread with a demetallized TCMB and a watermark that reveals Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. The banknote was printed by TURKIYE CUMHURIYET MEKEZ BANKASI (TCMB) and is 158 x 76 mm in size. It carries the signatures of Rusdu Saracoglu and Kadir Gunay. This particular banknote is in used condition.
