The Turkey 250,000 Lira banknote was released by the Central Bank of Turkey in 1998 with an I prefix. The obverse of the blue banknote features the bank logo and revolutionary statesman Mustafa Kemal Ataturk who served as president of the new Republic of Turkey. The banknotes reverse depicts the bank logo, the Red Tower, a harbor, and ships in Alanya.
