The Turkey 5,000 Lira Banknote is part of the 1985 issues of the Central Bank of Turkey issued under the 1970 law. The paper bill is in a brown and green color combination. Its obverse features Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. The reverse of the note depicts philosopher Mevlana Celaleddin-i Belhi Rumi, the minaret and turquoise dome in Konya, and whirling dervishes. The banknote contains a solid security thread with printed TURKIYE CUMHURIYET MERKEZ BANKASI and a watermark that reveals Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. The note measures 146 x 72 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. It has a prefix B and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
