Reviews:

This uncirculated 5,000 Turkish lira banknote is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the Central Bank of Turkey in 1990. It is a light brown banknote that is dated 14 January 1970, bears the signatures of Rusdu Saracoglu and Ruhi Haseski, and measures 146 mm x 72 mm. Its obverse side honors Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Its reverse side depicts the concrete cooling towers at the coal-fired Afsin-Elbistan Termik Santrali (Afsin-Elbistan Thermal Power Plant). Security features include a solid security thread with printed TURKIYE CUMHURIYET MERKEZ BANKASI, a serial number with an H-prefix, and a watermark of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. The banknote was demonetized in 2004.
