Turkey 5 Lira Banknote, L.1970 (1976 ND), P-185, UNC, Prefix - K

The Turkey 5 Lira banknote was issued by the Turkiye Cumhuriyet Merkez Bankasi or the Central Bank of Turkey under the 1970 law and was released in 1976. The paper bill has a color combination of purple and brown and bears Turkish text on both front and back. The obverse of the note depicts Mustafa Kemal Ataturk who served as the first president of the Republic of Turkey. On the reverse is the Manavgat waterfall which is found in Antalya. The banknote is 135 x 60 mm in size and bears a solid security thread. It also has a watermark that reflects an image of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. This particular Turkey 5 Lira banknote is in uncirculated condition.
