This used 5 Million Turkish lira note was introduced by the Central Bank of Turkey in 1997 under Law 1970 and signed by Gazi Ercel and Selcuk Abak. Its obverse side features a map, a golden seal with sunbeams, and Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Its reverse side features a stylized flame, a sculpture of three men at the entrance of the Road of Lions, and the memorial tomb of Ataturk in Ankara. Security features include a serial number that starts with E, a windowed security thread with demetalized TCMB, and a watermark of Ataturk.
