The Turkey 5 Million Lira Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Turkey in 1997 under the 1970 law. The note bears the prefix E and is in a color combination of pastel yellow and greenish-brown. Its obverse features Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, a map, and a golden seal radiating beams. The reverse of the paper bill depicts the memorial tomb of Ataturk in Ankara. It also shows a stylized flame and a sculpture of three men at the entrance of the Road of Lions. The note contains a windowed security thread with a demetallized TCMB and a watermark that reflects Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. The banknote is 162 x 76 mm in size and is in used condition.
