This uncirculated 5 million Turkish lira banknote is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the Central Bank of Turkey in 1997. It is a pastel yellow and greenish brown banknote that is dated 14 January 1970, bear the signatures of Gazi Ercel and Selcuk Abac, and measures 162 mm x 76 mm. Its obverse side features a map of Turkey, a golden seal, and the portrait of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Its reverse side shows the Anitkabir (memorial tomb) of Ataturk in Ankara, a stylized flame, and a sculpture of three men at the Road of Lions entry. Security features include a windowed security thread with a demetalized TCMB and a watermark of Ataturk.
