The Turkey 5 Million Lira Banknote was issued by the Central bank of Turkey in 1997 under the 1970 law. The banknote has a pastel yellow and greenish brown color combination and bears the prefix I. Its obverse features Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and the golden seal radiating beams. It also shows a map. The reverse depicts the Anitkabir (memorial tomb) of Ataturk in Ankara, a stylized flame, and a sculpture of three men at the Road of Lions entry. The banknote contains a windowed security thread with demetallized TCMB. It also has a watermark that reveals Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. The banknote is 162 x 76 mm in size and is signed by Gazi Ercel and Selcuk Abac. This particular banknote is in used condition.
