The Turkey 50,000 Lira banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Turkey in 1995 under the 1970 law. The obverse of the green banknote features Mustafa Kemal Ataturk who served as president of Turkey. The back of the paper bill depicts the statue of Ataturk with a man and a woman holding a flag and a banner, and the Grand National Assembly Parliament building with the Turkish flag in Ankara. The banknote is 152 x 76 mm in size and bears a windowed security thread and a watermark that reveals Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. It is also signed by Governor Sakir Yaman Toruner and Vice Governor Osman Cavit Ertan. This particular Turkey 50,000 Lira banknote has a Prefix L on its serial number and is in uncirculated condition. It has also been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
