The Turkey 50,000 Lira banknote is part of the family of notes issued by the Central Bank of Turkey in L.1970 (1995 ND) . The green paper bill features Mustafa Kemal Ataturk on its front design. On its reverse is the statue of Ataturk with a man and woman holding a banner and a flag. It also depicts the Grand National Assembly Parliament building with a flag standing in Ankara. The 152 x 76 mm note bears a windowed security thread and a watermark that reveals Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
