This uncirculated 50 Turkish lira banknote was introduced in 1976 under Law 1970. It is part of the H series and signed by Central Bank of Turkey Governor Numan Aksoy and Vice Governor Yahya Arslaner. The brown note has dimensions of 160 mm x 71 mm. Its obverse side features Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the Father of Modern Turkey. Its reverse side features the Marble Fountain in Istanbul. Security features of the note include a non-fluorescent serial number, a solid security thread, and a watermark of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
