The Turkey 50 Lira Banknote was issued in 2009 under the Law 1970. Its obverse side features Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, a star, and a crescent. Its reverse side honors the novelist Fatma Aliye with books and a quill. Security features include a holographic stripe, a solid security thread with printed TL 50, and a watermark of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk with an electrotype 50. The tan banknote is 148 mm x 68 mm in size and is signed by Murat Uysal and Murat Cetinkaya. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition. It has also been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
