This uncirculated 50 Turkish lira was issued in 2009 under the Law 1970 and signed by Murat Uysal and Murat Cetinkaya. This tan note is 148 mm long and 68 mm wide. Its obverse side features Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, a star, and a crescent. Its reverse side honors the novelist Fatma Aliye with books and a quill. Security features include a holographic stripe, a solid security thread with printed TL 50, and a watermark of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk with an electrotype 50.
