The Turkey 500,000 Lira banknote is part of the Central Bank of Turkeys 1998 issues which were released under the 1970 law. The purple banknote features Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and the bank logo on its obverse. The reverse of the paper bill depicts the bank logo and the Canakkale Sehitleri Aniti or the Canakkale Martyrs Memorial on Hisarlik Hill in Morto Bay. The banknote is 160 x 76 mm in size and bears a windowed security thread with demetalized TCMB. It also has a watermark that reflects Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. This paper bill is in uncirculated condition and with a M prefix. It has also been TAP authenticated by Banknote Worlds TAP specialists.
