The Turkey 500,000 Lira Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Turkey in 1993 under the 1970 law This purple banknote features the bank logo and Mustafa Kemal Ataturk on its obverse. The reverse depicts the bank logo and the Canakkale Martyrs’ Memorial on Hisarlik Hill in Morto Bay. The note contains a windowed security thread with a demetallized TCMB and a watermark that reveals Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
