This uncirculated 500,000 Turkish lira banknote is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the Central Bank of Turkey in 1993. It is a purple banknote that is dated 14 January 1970, bear the signatures of Sakir Yaman Toruner and Nedim Usta, and measures 160 mm x 76 mm. Its obverse side shows a portrait of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. Its reverse side depicts the bank logo and a view of the Canakkale Martyrs’ Memorial on Hisarlik Hill in Morto Bay. Security features include a windowed security thread with a demetalized TCMB, a serial number that has a G-prefix, and a watermark of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
