The Turkey 500,000 Lira Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Turkey in 1998 under the 1970 law. This purple banknote has a Prefix I and bears Turkish text. Its obverse features Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and the bank logo. The reverse of the note depicts the bank logo and the Canakkale Martyr’s Memorial on Hisarlik Hill in Morto Bay. The banknote contains a windowed security thread with a demetallized TCMB and a watermark that reflects Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. It is 160 x 76 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. This particular banknote has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
