The Turkey 500,000 Lira banknote from 1998 was issued by the Central Bank of Turkey under the 1970 law. On the obverse of the purple banknote is a portrait of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and the bank logo. The reverse of the paper bill also shows the bank logo and the Canakkale Martyrs Memorial on Hisarlik Hill in Morto Bay. This paper bill comes with a windowed security thread with a demetallized TCMB and a watermark that reveals Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. It has a “K” prefix and is 160 x 76 mm in size. It comes in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
