This Turkey 500,000 Lira banknote in an uncirculated condition was issued by the Central Bank of Turkey in 1998, bearing an K prefix. The purple-colored banknote reflects the bank logo and a portrait of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk on its obverse design. Its reverse design depicts the Canakkale Sehitleri Aniti or the Canakkale Martyrs Memorial on Hisarlik Hill in Morto Bay, overlooking the Dardanelles Strait. The banknote is 160 x 76 mm in size and bears a windowed security thread with a demetalized TCMB. It also has a watermark that reveals Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
