The Turkey 500,000 Lira Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Turkey in 1998 under the 1970 law. This purple banknote bears Turkish text. Its obverse features Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. The reverse depicts the bank logo and the Canakkale Martyrs’ Memorial on Hisarlik Hill in Morto Bay. The note contains a windowed security thread and a Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.watermark. It is 160 x 76 mm in size and is signed by Gazi Ercel and Aydin Esen. This banknote has a “K” prefix and is in uncirculated condition. Additionally, it has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
