The Turkey 500,000 Lira Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Turkey in 1998 under the 1970 law. This purple banknote bears Turkish text. Its obverse features Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. The reverse depicts the bank logo and the Canakkale Martyrs’ Memorial on Hisarlik Hill in Morto Bay. The note contains a windowed security thread and a Mustafa Kemal Ataturk watermark. It is 160 x 76 mm in size and is signed by Gazi Ercel and Aydin Esen. This banknote has an “M” prefix and a radar serial number. It is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
