This Turkey 500 Lira banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Turkey in 1983 under the 1970 law. The banknote’s obverse features Mustafa Kemal Ataturk who is the founding father of the Republic of Turkey. The reverse of the note depicts the Izmir Saat Kulesi or the Izmir clock tower in Konak Square. The note is 140 x 72 mm in size and bears a watermark that shows Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. It has a C prefix and is in uncirculated condition.
