This blue Turkey 500 Lira banknote is part of the Central Bank of Turkey’s 1983 issues that were released under the 1970 law. The obverse of the note features the founding father of the Republic of Turkey Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. The reverse of the note depicts the Izmir Saat Kulesi or the Izmir clock tower in Konak Square. It is 140 x 72 mm in size and bears a watermark that shows Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and a solid security thread. This note has an “E” prefix and is in uncirculated condition.
