The Turkmenistan 1,000 Manat banknote is part of the family of notes issued by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan in 2005. The banknote comes in green and is 156 x 78 mm in size. Featured on its obverse is the coat of arms of the country and a picture of President Saparmurat Niyazov. The reverse of the banknote depicts the Presidential Palace in Ashgabat. The paper bill bears a windowed security thread with a demetalized TMB 1000 and a watermark that reveals Saparmurat Niyazov with an electrotype signature and Cornerstones. This Turkmenistan 1,000 Manat banknote has been given a grade of 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
