Turkmenistan 1,000 Manat Banknote, 2005, P-20, PMG 68

The Turkmenistan 1,000 Manat banknote was introduced by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan in 2005. The green banknote is 156 x 78 mm in size and features on its obverse the national emblem and a portrait of President Saparmurat Niyazov. The back of the banknote depicts the Presidential Palace in Ashgabat. The paper bill bears a windowed security thread with a demetalized TMB 1000 and a watermark that reveals Saparmurat Niyazov with an electrotype signature and Cornerstones. This particular banknote has been graded 68 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
