The Turkmenistan 1,000 Manat banknote was introduced by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan in 2005. The green banknote is 156 x 78 mm in size. Its obverse features the national emblem and a portrait of President Saparmurat Niyazov. The back of the banknote depicts the Presidential Palace in Ashgabat. The paper bill bears a windowed security thread with a demetalized TMB 1000 and a watermark that reveals Saparmurat Niyazov with an electrotype signature and Cornerstones. This Turkmenistan 1,000 Manat banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
