The Turkmenistan 100 Manat banknote was released by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan in 2005. The obverse of the red banknote features the countrys emblem and a portrait of Saparmurat Niyazov who served as the nations president. The back of the note displays coins and the Turkmenistan Central Bank headquarters building. The banknote was printed by De La Rue and is 150 x 75 mm in size. It carries a solid security thread with a demetalized TMB 100 and a watermark that reveals Saparmurat Niyazov. This particular paper bill has been given a grade of 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
