Turkmenistan 100 Manat Banknote, 2005, P-18, PMG 68

The Turkmenistan 100 Manat banknote is part of the family of notes issued by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan in 2005. The paper bill comes in red and is 150 x 75 mm in size. Its obverse features the national emblem and a portrait of Saparmurat Niyazov who served as president. The reverse of the note depicts coins and the Turkmenistan Central Bank headquarters building. The 150 x 75 mm banknote was printed by De La Rue and bears a solid security thread with a demetalized TMB 100. It also carries a watermark that reveals Saparmurat Niyazov. This particular paper bill has been given a grade of 68 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
