The Turkmenistan 100 Manat banknote is part of the family of notes issued by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan in 2005. The paper bill comes in red and is 150 x 75 mm in size. Its obverse features the national emblem and a portrait of Saparmurat Niyazov who served as president. The reverse of the note depicts coins and the Turkmenistan Central Bank headquarters building. The 150 x 75 mm banknote was printed by De La Rue and bears a solid security thread with a demetalized TMB 100. It also carries a watermark that reveals Saparmurat Niyazov.
