The Turkmenistan 50 Manat banknote is part of the family of notes issued by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan in 2005. The purple banknote boasts the Turkmen coat of arms and a picture of President Saparmurat Niyazov on its obverse. The reverse of the banknote depicts a grandstand and the racehorse "Yanardag" of the Achalteks. The paper bill is 144 x 72 mm in size and carries a solid security thread with a demetalized TMMB 50. Additionally, it has a watermark that reflects Saparmurat Niyazov. This 50 Turkmen manat banknote has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
