The Uganda 1,000 Shilling banknote is part of the family of notes issued by the Bank of Uganda in 1986. Featured on the banknotes front design is the countrys coat of arms on the Uganda map. The back of the note features the Parliament building which is located in Kampala. The paper bill is 156 x 66 mm in size and carries a solid security thread. It also bears a watermark in the form of a crested crane. This Uganda 1,000 Shilling banknote has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
