This uncirculated 1,000 Shillings Uganda note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Uganda. It is a green note that is dated 1991, bear the signatures of James Kahoza and Charles Nyonyintono Kikonyogo, and measures 151 x 74 mm. Its obverse side features a farmer with a hoe, coat of arms, corn stalk and the bank emblem. Its reverse side shows two trucks and the grain silos in Jinja. Security features include a solid security thread with printed BANK OF UGANDA, and a watermark of crested crane. This note was demonetized on 31 December 2013. Additionally, the details of this note have been verified and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
