This uncirculated 1,000 shillings Uganda note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Uganda. It is a green note that is dated 1991, bear the signatures of James Kahoza and Charles Nyonyintono Kikonyogo, and measures 151 x 74 mm. Its obverse side features a farmer with a hoe, coat of arms, corn stalks and bank emblem. Its reverse side shows two trucks and grain silos in Jinja. Security features include a Solid security thread printed BANK OF UGANDA and a watermark of crested crane. Additionally, this note was demonetized on 31 December 2013.
