The Uganda 1,000 Shillings Banknote was issued by the Bank of Uganda in 2003. Its obverse side depicts a farmer with his hoe and the bank emblem. Its reverse side depicts the grain silos in Jinja. Security features include a solid security thread with a demetalized 1000 and a watermark of a crested crane. It measures 150 mm x 75 mm and is signed by Emmanuel Tumusiime Mutebile and Janet Kahirimbanyi. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
