This Ugandan 10,000 Shillings banknote was issued by the Bank of Uganda in 2007 to commemorate the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) that took place on November 23-25, 2007 in Kampala. The banknote is in yellow and brown color combinations and is 156 x 76 mm in size. Its obverse features the CHOGM logo, the national emblem, and the bank logo. The reverse of the note boasts the Owen Falls Dam and the Nalubaale Power Station in Jinja. To the lower right are two mountain gorillas. The banknote has a green-to-red windowed security thread with a demetalized BOU 10000. Its watermark design consists of a crested crane, an electrotype 10000, and Cornerstones. This commemorative banknote is in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated.
