The Uganda 10,000 Shillings Banknote Was released by the Bank of Uganda in 2019. The banknote has a color combination of purple and red. Its obverse features the Sipi Falls at Mount Elgo, the Key to Success Monument at the Kyambogo University. It also shows a profile of a man wearing a Karimojong headdress, a green-to-blue SPARK feature, the coat of arms of Uganda, and jugs. The reverse of the note features jugs, a profile of a man wearing a Kaeimojong headdress, the sun, a map, matoke plantains, and the National Independence Monument in Kampala. The banknote contains a holographic stripe, a red-to-green windowed security thread with demetallized BOU X, and a watermark that reveals a crested crane and an electrotype 10000. It is also signed by Susan Kanyemibwa and Emmanuel Tumusiime Mutebile and measures 143 x 70 mm. This banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60 to 70.
