Uganda 20,000 Shillings Banknote Was issued by the Bank of Uganda in 2021. The obverse of this red banknote features the Socio-economic Growth of Kampala City Monument in Centenary Park in Kampala. It also depicts a profile of a man wearing a Karimojong headdress, a green to blue SPARK feature, the coat of arms of Uganda, drums, and trees and a crater lake in Ndali. Its reverse depicts drums, a profile from man wearing a Karimojong headdress, the sun, a map, a long-horned bull, and the National Independence Monument in Kampala. The banknote contains a holographic stripe, a red-to- green windowed security thread with demetallized BOU XX, and a watermark that displays a crested crane and electrotype 20000. It is also signed by Susan Kanyemibwa and Emmanuel Tumusiime Mutebile. The banknote is 147 x 72 mm. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60 to 70.
