The Uganda 20 Shilling banknote is part of the family of notes issued by the Bank of Uganda in 1987. It comes in purple and is 136 x 66 mm in size. The banknote features the coat of arms, the bank seal, and the map of Uganda. The back of the note bears modern buildings which include the original Bank of Uganda headquarters on Kampala Road and the Bank of Uganda Extension that is near Nile Avenue. The paper bill comes with a solid security thread and a watermark that reflects a crested crane. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
