This uncirculated 5,000 Ugandan shilling note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Uganda. It is a violet note that is dated 1998, bear the signatures of Charles Nyonyintono Kikonyogo and Joshua Mugyeni, and measures 150 mm x 75 mm. Its obverse side features Lake Bunyonyi and terraces, the national coat of arms, the bank emblem, and the equator monument near Masaka. Its reverse side shows railroad cars, the Kaawa ferry, and a coffee bush. Security features include a windowed security thread with a demetallized 5000 and a watermark of a revised crane.
