Reviews:

The Uganda 5,000 Shillings Banknote was released by the Bank of Uganda in 2002. The violet banknote bears English and Swahili text on both the front and back sides. Its obverse features the Lake Bunyonyi and terraces, silver foil leaves, the coat of arms of Uganda, the bank emblem, and the equator monument. The reverse of the paper bill depicts railroad cars and a Kaawa ferry. It also reflects a coffee bush. The note contains a solid security thread with a demetallized 5000 and a watermark that shows a crested crane. The paper bill is 150 x 75 mm in size and bears the signatures of Janet Kahirimbanyi and Emmanuel Tumusiime Mutebile. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
