Uganda 5,000 Shillings Banknote, 2005, P-44b, UNC, TAP 60-70 Authenticated

The Uganda 5,000 Shilling banknote is part of the 2005 issues of the Bank of Uganda. It is violet in color and measures 150 x 75 mm. The obverse side shows Lake Bunyonyi and terraces, the coat of arms, leaves, the bank emblem, and the equator monument near Masaka. The reverse side features railroad cars and Kaawa ferry, and a coffee bush. This banknote uses a solid security thread with a demetalized 5000 and contains a watermark with a crested crane design. This particular Uganda 5,000 Shilling banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
