Uganda 5,000 Shillings Banknote, 2019, P-51f, UNC

The Uganda 5,000 Shillings banknote is part of the 2019 issues. It is green in color and measures 139 x 68 mm. The obverse side shows a profile of a man wearing the Karimojong headdress, the World War I and II memorial at a Constitutional Square in Kampala, the Rwenzori mountains, a purple-to-green OVI patch, and the coat of arms. The reverse side features a profile of a man wearing a Karimojong headdress, the sun, a map, a birds nest, weaver birds, and the National Independence monument in Kampala. This banknote uses a red-to-green windowed security thread with demetalized BOU V and contains a watermark with a crested crane and electrotype 5000 design.
