The Uganda 5 Shilling banknote is part of the family of notes introduced by the Bank of Uganda in 1982. The front design of the green banknote boasts the bank emblem as well as the map of Uganda with a superimposed coat of arms. On its reverse is a woman harvesting berries. The banknote is 136 x 70 mm in size and bears a solid security thread. It also has a watermark in the form of a crested crane. This particular banknote has been graded 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
